Woman Dies When Buggy Collides With Truck

On Tuesday night, September 11, 2012, a buggy crashed into a pick-up truck in the Town of Johnson, Wisconsin. The 71-year-old man who was driving the buggy sustained critical injuries. The man’s wife, who was a passenger in the buggy, died as a result of the accident. Authorities from the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office believe that the buggy may have failed to yield or stop at a stop sign, resulting in the collision with the truck.

According to statistics from the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation, there are over 100,000 vehicle accidents every year in Wisconsin.
