Good Samaritan Responds to Scene of Auto Accident

Posted on

On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, a two-vehicle accident occurred on northbound Interstate 43 in Hales Corners. One of the vehicles collided with a tree, while the other vehicle ended up submerged in a pond. Motorist Jacob Saxton was driving down the freeway with his girlfriend when he witnessed the accident. Mr. Saxton checked on one of the vehicle’s passengers. After determining that passenger was all right, Mr. Saxton jumped into the pond to assist a 52-year-old woman who was exiting her vehicle, pulling her from the water and assisting her back to dry land. Mr. Saxton’s girlfriend was not surprised by his actions, stating “You have to know Jake. He is a very helpful person and very kind.” Authorities are still investigating the accident.
