Recently there have been two tragic hit-and-run incidents in the Milwaukee area where the identities of the drivers remain unknown. We are requesting your help in solving these crimes.
First, a 5-year-old Milwaukee boy was critically injured in a hit-and-run incident on Saturday, June 9, 2012. At approximately 9:15 P.M. the young boy was crossing the street in the 4500 block of North Teutonia Avenue when a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and without its headlights on struck the boy and fled the scene. The boy was taken to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin with fractures and internal bleeding. Witnesses reported that the hit-and-run vehicle had four doors, and was possibly a tan, General Motors model. Second, on June 13, 2012, at about 7 A.M., an 84-year-old man was walking down Good Hope Road in Sussex when a driver struck the man and then left the scene without stopping. The victim of the hit-and-run is currently listed in critical condition at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls. The identity of the driver is unknown, because the police have not found any witnesses to the incident and the victim was unable to describe the driver. Samster, Konkel & Safran, S.C.
