On September 3, 2012, at around 10:30 P.M., three people were injured when a car struck a motorcycle. The accident occurred on Milwaukee’s north side and caused serious injuries to the motorcycle rider and passenger who were taken to a local hospital. Authorities believe alcohol was a factor in the collision.

Drinking and driving is a dangerous practice and a serious offence. Wisconsin has the highest rate of drunken driving in the nation with more than 26 percent of Wisconsin adults admitting they have driven under the influence of alcohol in the previous year, according to a nationwide study by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services released in April 2009. All of this drunk driving in our state has led to many car accidents and serious injuries.
