Wrong-Way Driver Strikes Truck Head-On

Posted on

As previously reported here, there have been numerous accidents in the Milwaukee area involving wrong-way drivers. On early Thursday morning, May 8, 2014, the latest accident occurred when a 52-year-old man drove his car the wrong way on Highway 18 in Waukesha and crashed into a semi-tractor trailer. The driver of the car reportedly suffered a broken hip and other injuries as a result of the accident, and was taken by helicopter to Froedtert Hospital. The truck driver sustained minor injuries in the crash. Authorities believe that alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
